The seminar "Revision of
the Tentative List and Statement of Conservation of the Monuments Using
Advanced Documentation Methods," organized by the National Commission of
the Republic of Tajikistan for UNESCO with the support of the Executive Body of
the Sughd Region, took place on December 20-21 in
Khujand, Republic of Tajikistan. Researchers Nargiz Aituganova and Farukh
Khabibullaev from IICAS presented their scientific papers "Tentative
Inventory: An Overview of Strategies for the Republic of Tajikistan" and
"Remote Methods of Documenting Cultural Heritage." This seminar
marked a significant advancement in the preservation and documentation of
Tajikistan’s cultural heritage. The discussion of innovative methods, such as
contactless documentation, underscores the importance of employing modern
technologies in this field. The expertise and knowledge shared by the
participants open new perspectives for the preservation of monuments, which is
crucial in a constantly changing world. This seminar not only highlights the
