The International
Institute of Central Asian Studies (IICAS) would like to announce that the
recording of the open lecture “Site of Khalifa Erezhep at Mizdahkan - studies
of 1986-1989: some results”, delivered by Dr. Tigran Mkrtychev, the Director of
the Savitskiy State Museum of Art of the Republic of Karakalpakstan is
available for viewing in Russian.
This is the first
lecture in the framework of the project aimed to conserve the Khalifa Erezhep
Mausoleum and build conservation capacity in the Republic of Karakalpakstan,
and implemented with the support of the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of
Uzbekistan within the framework of the Ambassador's Fund for the Preservation
of Cultural Assets program.
