The International Institute for Central Asian Studies (IICAS) is pleased to inform that the Russian-language version of the book “Ancient Korea in Arabic and Persian Manuscripts”, first released in English in 2020, will be published soon.

The publication is the outcome of a five-year joint research project run by Professor Hee Soo Lee (Republic of Korea) and Professor Mohammad Vosoughi (Islamic Republic of Iran), based on the study of Arabic, Persian and East Asian sources and implemented with the support of the

Laboratory Program for Korean Studies through the Ministry of Education of Republic of Korea and Korean Studies Promotion Service of The Academy of Korean Studies.

The publication is addressed to experts, university students, as well as to a wider audience interested in history.
