International Institute for Central Asian Studies signed a memorandum on scientific cooperation with the International Turkic Academy in spring 2023. One of the first initiatives was focused on project to provide access to documentary heritage on the Silk Road through an inventory of existing monuments and archaeological artifacts with ancient Turkic writings in Central Asia. The presentation of the publication “Ancient Turkic Writings in Central Asia” was organized at the Lev Gumilev Eurasian National University in Astana in December 2023, as part of a scientific forum dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of academician Ziya Musaevich Buniyatov. The publication consists of works by specialists studying monuments of ancient Turkic writings, who previously published their articles in Russian in various scientific journals.
