The International Institute for Central Asian Studies (IICAS) signed a
Memorandum of Understanding with the Swiss Foundation for ArchaeoExploration
represented by its President Thea Caspari.
The Parties have agreed to cooperate in research projects and programs, in
the exchange of academic data and publications, as well as joint work in the
areas of mutual interest.
The scope of cooperation within the framework of the memorandum signed
concerns the establishment of cooperation and participation of employees of
both the Parties in workshops, seminars, joint training programs, development
of research programs, organization and holding of workshops.
Founded in 2018, the Foundation for ArchaeoExploration supports
archaeological research by promoting deeper understanding of the rich cultural
heritage of the Eurasian continent and the Pacific region.
Joint activities will ensure the dissemination of the most up-to-date
knowledge in the field of research and culture.
