The book "MADE IN USSR" analyzes the problems of family and the phenomenon of interethnic marriages, which is largely due to the ideological policy of internationalism of the country. Following the chronology, the real stories of the emergence of "Russian Turkestans" in Samarkand, the creation of intercultural marriages during the "korenization", the arrival of the "front" and soldiers' wives in the city. The life and marriages of mestizos of two or three generations in interethnic families (Uzbeks, Tajiks, Koreans, Crimean Tatars) are traced. The book is built on "interviews" by children or grandchildren, who not only preserved the "love story of their grandfather and grandmother," but also provided an extensive photo archive of their multinational family.
