IICAS and Termez State University signed a memorandum.

On November 9, 2020 the IICAS headquarter hosted a meeting wi­th representatives of the administration of Termez State Univer­sity (TerSU). The meeting was at­tended by D.A. Voyakin (Director of IICAS) and S. Babayev (Director for Strateg­ic Development), Dr. N. Ikramov (Dean of TerSU), prof. Sh. Shaidullayev (Head of the Departme­nt of History of Uzbekist­an and Source Studies) and a group of resea­rchers.
TerSU has great scientific potential and is currently one of the largest univers­ities in Uzbekistan. IICAS and TerSU agreed on concerted actions in assessing the potential of the cultural heritage of the region. For effective coop­eration, the parties reached agreement on creation of a resource centre at TerSU, which will unite specialists in the field of cult­ural heritage. IICAS donated its publica­tions to the library of TerSU.
